I had the opportunity to work of the film Mémoire de Forme by Alexandre Mexis. I worked as a sound engineer on a three-day shoot before handling the 5.1 cinema mix. This project was mixed entirely remotely, with binaural deliveries allowing the director to have an optimal listening experience despite the distance.
Throughout this project, I made it a priority to meet the director’s specific requests. I provided versions adapted for the film’s various uses and screenings (5.1, stereo, binaural). Everything was done with precision, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach, ensuring a cinema mix that was perfectly aligned with the artistic vision.

Alexandre Mexis testimonial
"I had the pleasure of working with Benjamin on my short film Mémoire de Formes, where he first served as the sound engineer during the three-day shoot. Throughout this period, he demonstrated motivation, energy, and punctuality, while also being proactive, always seeking the best solutions to achieve optimal results.
He then handled the sound mix, where once again he was particularly attentive to my requests, meticulous in detail, and perfectionist in his approach. He provided multiple versions of the mix tailored for different uses and screenings of the film (5.1, stereo, binaural).
High-quality work, always carried out with a great spirit of collaboration.
I highly recommend him! " – Alexandre Mexis
This project was also a great opportunity to further develop my skills in multichannel mixing and sound adaptation. Each stage required careful attention to preserve the film’s artistic identity and meet the director’s expectations. Thanks to smooth communication and rigorous precision, I was able to deliver a versatile mix, tailored to different listening formats: 5.1 for an immersive theatrical experience, stereo for traditional broadcasts, and binaural for an optimized headphone rendering. This custom approach helped enhance the project, fully meeting both technical and creative requirements.
